1Who We Are

Krushitirth is a product of Agricoss (Android package: com.agricoss.krushitirth). We operate as an agricultural technology platform serving farmers across India. Any reference to "we", "us", or "our" refers to Agricoss and the Krushitirth application.

Our registered office is in India. Privacy questions can be directed to privacy@agricoss.in.

2Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly and information generated through your use of the app:

Account Information: Name, mobile number, email address, and location (district/state) during registration.
Farm Profile: Land size, crop types, irrigation methods, and soil data you submit voluntarily.
Device Data: Device model, OS version, unique identifiers, and crash reports via Firebase Crashlytics.
Location Data: GPS coordinates (only with your explicit permission) for hyper-local weather and mandi prices.
Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, and time spent, collected via Firebase Analytics.
Communications: Messages sent to agronomists through Expert Connect are stored to provide support continuity.

3How We Use Your Information

To create and manage your account and farm profile.
To deliver personalised crop advice, weather alerts, and market prices.
To connect you with agronomists and notify you of relevant government schemes.
To improve app performance using aggregated, anonymised analytics.
To send important service notifications (not marketing) via push and SMS.
To process in-app purchases and marketplace orders.
To comply with applicable Indian laws and regulatory requirements.

We do not use your data to build advertising profiles or sell targeted advertising.

4Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only in these limited circumstances:

Service Providers: Firebase (Google) for auth, cloud storage, and crash analytics; payment gateways for in-app transactions. All providers are bound by data processing agreements.
Government Bodies: Anonymised, aggregated crop data may be shared with state agricultural departments for scheme administration.
Agronomists: When you use Expert Connect, your farm profile and photos are shared with the assigned agronomist.
Legal Requirements: Where required by applicable Indian law or court order.

5Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Farm profile and crop history data is retained for a minimum of one agricultural season to enable year-on-year analysis.

If you request account deletion, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain it (e.g., financial records under GST law).

6Your Rights

Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Correction: Update inaccurate information via the app's Settings page at any time.
Deletion: Request complete deletion of your account and associated personal data.
Opt-Out: Disable push notifications in device settings; unsubscribe from SMS by texting STOP to our sender ID.
Data Portability: Request an export of your farm profile data in a structured, machine-readable format.
Withdraw Consent: Revoke location permissions at any time through Android app permissions settings.

7Security

We implement industry-standard measures including TLS 1.2+ encryption in transit, AES-256 encrypted storage at rest, role-based access controls, and regular third-party security audits.

No system is completely secure. If you discover a security vulnerability, please report it to security@agricoss.in before public disclosure.

8Children's Privacy

Krushitirth is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately at privacy@agricoss.in and we will delete it promptly.

9Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via in-app notification at least 7 days before they take effect.

Continued use of the app after changes constitute your acceptance of the updated policy. You can always view the current version at this URL.
